Make Money with Affiliate Programs

One of the best ways to make money on the internet is to join an affiliate program. Most affiliate programs are 100% free to join and once you have registered you'll receive a special link with your affiliate ID in it. Once you've added the link to your website you will receive a commission whenever someone follows the link and makes a purchase. For example, if you had a website on the subject of horses you could join the Amazon affiliate program and put Amazon affiliate links or graphics to horse books on your website. If any of the visitors to your site clicks on the Amazon link and purchases a book you will receive a commission for that sale.

It's usually better if you have your own website before joining an affiliate program. In fact, some affiliate programs actually review your website before allowing you to join. Here are some recommended affiliate programs that I use myself. All of these are free to sign up for and most of the programs are global affiliate program so you can join whether you live in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe or elsewhere in the world.

Maximum Paid Surveys Affiliate Program - This free to join affiliate program allows you to make 75% commissions from selling a Paid Survey package called Maximum Paid Surveys. You will also earn commission on two further tiers, so if you recruit an affiliate and they make a sale, you will also receive a commission.

Traffic Payouts The Traffic Payouts Affiliate Program is free to join and includes a number of data entry and paid surveys business opportunities each paying $35 or more in commission. You will also receive second tier commissions on any sales that your referrals make.

Clickbank - clickbank sells a wide range of electronic information products in all sorts of areas including internet marketing, home business, health, travel, romance and many more. The program is free to join, open to many countries throughout the world and offers commissions up to 50% and higher. There is no need to have your own website to join this program - you could use the strategy outlined in the Google Cash to sell products directly from Google without a website.

Commission Junction - Commission Junction administers affiliate programs for many different large companies including Ebay and Expedia. You will need your own website before you can apply to Commission Junction.

Affiliate Future - Affiliate Future manages affiliate programs for a wide range of companies.

AllPosters.com - The AllPosters.com Affiliates Program is a great way to make money with your website. Link to AllPosters.com and earn 25%-30% of every purchase made by your site visitors at their website. If the visitor decides to purchase within 10 days of their last visit from your website, you'll still earn commission on the sale. You can link to AllPosters.com from a selection of over hundreds of thousands poster and art print images as well as poster stores and mini stores. They have posters related to just about everything (e.g. movies, music, sports, art, animals) so no matter what the content of your site is, you will find images that are a good fit.

Affiliate Power Ads - this program is free to join and allows you to display small graphical ads on your website. If someone clicks on the ad and buys something you will be paid a commission of 50% or over. The categories include Business to Business, Health and Fitness, Fun and Entertainment snd Computer and Internet.

Marketing Tips - This company sells internet marketing training courses and software and can earn you up to $65 per sale, plus commissions on two levels. The company was originally founded by the late Corey Rudl, who was one of the most prominent Internet millionaires. The products are of high quality and sell very well. There is no need to have your own website to apply for this affiliate program.

Strong Future International (SFI) - With SFI you can sell a wide range of products including vitamins, magazines, digital products, cleaning products and more. You can also make commission on up to 12 levels by recruiting new members. SFI is widely considered one of the top affiliate programs on the Internet today and has paid out millions of dollars in commissions to tens of thousands of affiliates in over 190 countries. Leisure Audio Books - Leisure Audio Books was launched in June 2007 and is a free to join affiliate program that allows you to sell a choice of over 6000 downloadable Audio books including fiction, business, self help, health, history and more. As a free member you will receive 15% commission on every audio book that someone buys through your affiliate link. You don't need a website to join this affiliate program.

If you have a site in a specific niche you can easily do a search for affiliate programs related to that niche area on Google or Yahoo. Or alternatively visit some well known sites that sell products related to your niche and look for a link on the site that says "Affiliates".
