Link Exchange Software and Tools
Exchanging Links can be a tiresome task. I've put together a list of
website link exchange programs and tools that I have used in the past
to make the link exchange process a bit smoother and faster. I've also
added in a quick summary of each of these resources based on my personal
experience with them, so you can decide at a glance if they are for you

All of these are free to use. Some of them also have optional paid
memberships.
Link Exchange Software
- Link Machine - This is the software that you can use to manage your links.
This software cuts the time it takes to exchange links in half (at least). Links are added to
your webpage without the need to do any html coding. There are lots of features such as automatic checking
of all your link partners to ensure that they are linking back to you, automated emails, unlimited
partners, unlimited categories and sub categories and more.
Tools to help you check your progress (& compare yourself to competitors!)
- Link Popularity Checker - free tool that allows you to type in your
URL + up to three other URLS and find out how many backlinks there are to your website.
Based on results from Google, Yahoo, MSN, HotBot, AllTheWeb and AltaVista
- Google Rankings - Check your rank
in Google for your chosen keywords
- Google Toolbar - Download the Google Toolbar for PageRank information and more
- Alexa Toolbar - Download the Alexa Toolbar for traffic rankings and more
